Job Responsabilities
- Install, assemble, and connect poly pipes, fittings, and valves according to project specifications.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to cut, join, and weld poly pipes together.
- Conduct pressure testing and leak detection to ensure proper installation and identify any potential issues.
- Repair or replace damaged or faulty poly pipes, fittings, and valves.
- Safely loading and unloading pipes, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for transportation.
- Monitoring machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls as needed to maintain specified conditions.
- Installing and maintaining pumps and generators at job sites.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions to operations.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations, and using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
- Assisting in containment and cleanup of spills.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on poly pipe system to identify and address potential problems.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data, contributing to ongoing process improvements and performance optimization.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, staying current on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all aspects of water transfer operations.
- Utilizing common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.
- Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.
- Perform standard Liner and Secondary Containment operations.
Physical Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 Years’ experience in water transfer operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
